The Nintendo 3DS is an interesting portable console for people to enjoy. We posted up our review of the console back in March when it first launched. We liked the 3DS, buy talented the eShop wasn't available yet. That eShop is set to launch on June 7 to allow users to buy download games and content directly from the 3DS. Nintendo and Best Buy has now announced that as of the eShop launch on June 7 they will be providing custom download content for the portable console.

The new service will allow users to bring their 3DS console to Best Buy locations and the console will automatically connect to the Best Buy WiFi network and offer SpotPass feature and more. When connected to the Best Buy service, the user will get special offers that are exclusive and special extras and content to enjoy on the 3DS.

That extra content includes things like gaming extras and movie trailers. The 3DS carries an MSRP of $249.99. "Nintendo 3DS turns the page in portable gaming not just because of the stunning, glasses-free 3D visuals, but also in the way it keeps people connected to their friends, their games and their world," said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. "Best Buy provides a firsthand look at the platform with experts to help people understand everything it offers."
