Crytek Warface Xbox 360 Edition beta launches

The first time we heard that the Crytek free to play FPS game Warface was heading to the Xbox 360 was back in August of 2013. The game went live for PC gamers back in October 2013. With 2014 here, Crytek has announced that the Warface Xbox 360 beta is beginning now.

The beta for the game is available right now and leads up to the official launch of the game this spring. Like the PC version of the game, Warface on the Xbox 360 is set in the near future with Warface forces battling Blackwood military forces.

The game has four classes that gamers can play including the rifleman, medic, engineer, and sniper. When the official launch happens this spring, Crytek promises that the game will receive regular content updates. The updates will include daily co-op missions, and new maps, weapons, and boosts added regularly.

The catch for the beta is that you have to register. It's unclear if only a certain number of gamers will be accepted or if anyone wanting to participate can get in on the action. The exact launch date for the game this spring is unannounced.
