Corsair Void Pro headset: noise-cancelling microphone, Dolby 7.1 and more

Corsair Gaming has announced the launch of its new Void Pro, a gaming headset that sports, among other things, a noise-cancelling microphone. The headset is designed for PC gamers, and comes in multiple varieties including USB and wireless. As the name indicates, the Void Pro builds upon the company's previously launched Void headset lineup, adding on top of it things like better comfort and that aforementioned microphone.

The Corsair Void Pro features cast aluminum yokes and an overall lightweight construction. This is joined by the promise of better comfort versus the previous Void offering. The Void Pro utilizes a microfiber mesh fabric as well as memory foam on the ear pads; the goal is for gamers to be able to wear the headset all day without feeling uncomfortable.

All versions of the Void Pro lineup offer 50mm custom-tuned neodymium drivers alongside Dolby's Headphone 7.1 surround audio tech. Corsair Gaming promises audio that provides both a powerful bass and a precise treble, the combination of which help facilitate high-quality, life-like gaming audio. Voice also gets an important focus with the Pro iterations.

The noise-cancelling microphone is Discord Certified for use with the gaming platform; it is uni-directional and also has an LED indicator for the mute function. When used wirelessly, the Void Pro headset has up to a 16-hour battery life and up to a 40ft wireless range. There's also USB, though, as well as Void Pro Surround with multi-device compatibility.

Users also get the option of Void PRO RGB Wireless/USB headsets with RGB lighting in the ear cups, something that can be customized by the wearer via the Corsair Utility Engine. The Special Edition version of the Corsair Void Pro is priced at $129.99 USD, while the Wireless is $99.99 USD, the USB model is $79.99 USD, and the Surround model is $79.99 USD. All models are available from Corsair now.
