Coconut Guitar Amp made by Steve Lodefink

Milena Glimbovski - Feb 14, 2008

I don’t know how he did it, but he did. He put an small amplifier, jack, power on LED, and volume knob in a coconut.

I don’t think I’d have much of a use for this as a guitar amp, unless I took up playing Hawaiian tune (they’re so calming aren’t they?). However as a set of computer speakers or something more along those lines I’d love to have a pair of these.

Well, now that I am thoroughly thirst for some coconut milk, and hungry for some coconut, I think I might try my hand at stuffing something useful into one of these things. Sadly it doesn’t appear to be a mass produced item, in fact its origins are from MAKE, so the guy only made one, but it’s nice.
