Chinese Nokia N93 fake borrows liberally from the design pool

Join me in checking off the "inspiration" behind the various points of design in this latest Chinese clone-phone: most obvious, of course, is the Nokia branding and hints of the Finnish company's styling language.  Next up comes the iPhone UI, a popular theme for knock-offs, but did you spot the cheeky Android logo built into the borrowed Nokia logo?

It's not entirely clear whether the so-called NOKIA N93 actually runs Android or – as is often the case – Windows CE with a custom skin on top, but considering it'll never show up for sale in the US or Europe that's probably not something we need worry about unduly.  Similarly the specifications are nothing to get excited about: a 2.8-inch touchscreen and 1.3-megapixel camera, along with WiFi connectivity.

The curious side-bulge is unexplained; it could either be a simple design flourish or the Shanzhai company responsible for the N93 realising they'd run out of space for the components.  No word on how much it will go for in China.
