CES 2008: Koss Earbuds

Koss went for the big haul this week and unveiled eleven new products at CES, five of which were earbuds. If you're in the market for some new ones, you may want to consider one these.

The KEB20 and KEB24 are available in metallic colors to match a number of Mp3 players. They have a compact design and a frequency response of 15-20,000Hz. The KEB24 has a soft, flexible strain relief for more comfort and both models come in three different sizes (small, medium, large) to help you find a good fit. They'll cost around $20-$25 respectively.

The KEB70 and i150 are both isolation earbuds. The KEB70 has the same frequency response as the previous two in its line and it can produce a deep bass with clear, crisp sound. It's a snug fit in the ear and is designed for the active person and has soft, silicone ear cushions, also available in three sizes. It's new mini plug makes it compatible with any player, including the iPhone, it'll cost around $80. The i150 has a frequency response of 10-20,000Hz. It has most of the same features as the KEB70, but the i150 was designed specifically for the iPhone. It comes with a leatherette carrying case and will cost around $150.

The final set of earbuds released by Koss is called iSpark. They come with an in line microphone and a push-to-talk button designed for the iPhone. It has a temperature sensitive slow recovery foam urethane cushion that expands for a custom fit. Like the i150, it has a frequency response of 10-20,000Hz and comes with a leatherette carrying case. It'll cost around $40.
