Cardboard Box detailed: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's big star

Hideo Kojima stepped on stage this week in Cologne, Germany to speak about the future of Konami's own Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The gameplay shown this afternoon lets it be known that you'll be able to do a whole lot more with the box. Every troops best friend, the cardboard box – of greatness.

The box can now allow you to pop out, take an enemy out, and hide back in the box. You can now use the Fulton from within the box to carry off your enemies with ease.

Exiting the box now means you can use the box as a decoy. You can also stand up sideways with the box. Standing up sideways shows a picture of an enemy, fooling them in the process.

There's also a (sexist) image of a swimsuit model available when you pop out sideways. This jumping out move distracts your enemy and draws them in. Another (sexist) swimsuit model is available whilst standing up, with a similar effect.

You can also wear a PlayStation 4 box on your head. We're going to assume this will make its way to the final release – we'll see!
