Build your own Wii remote with Lego Play and Build

It's safe to say that most all of the Wii remote that are on the market today are rather boring devices. Sure, you can get some of them in different colors other than the plain white or black that most of them come in. Still, most Wii Remotes are virtually the same.

Lego has unveiled a new Wii remote that is freakin' awesome and any geek with a fetish for Lego will want to run over to Toys R Us and grab one up while they can. The remote is called the Lego Play and Build Remote for Nintendo Wii. The thing is up for pre-order right now for $39.99 and is set to ship on October 16. You even get a free Lego Halloween Bucket if you purchase the thing.

The remote comes with 31 mini Lego tiles, a Lego Tile Separator, a wrist strap, and two battery covers. You can even create a display stand for the thing using the special battery cover and your own Lego blocks. It will work with MotionPlus and most charge docks as well. The Lego Remote has all of the features of the normal Wii remote in a much cooler package.
