BoJack Horseman season four hits Netflix on September 8

Can't wait for the return of BoJack Horseman? The show's team has revealed that it will be returning on September 8, giving Netflix subscribers access to the entirety of season four. The animated show (one decidedly for adults) has been a big hit for Netflix, surviving the recent round of show cancellations the company dished out. Critics have had good things to say about the show, and we're all hoping that quality will persist through its fourth season.

The premiere date was announced in an image posted on the BoJack Horseman Twitter account — it merely shows a half-hearted attempt to block out sky writing that reads: "All New Episodes September 8." No other information was provided, such as what fans can expect from this upcoming batch of episodes.

As with all Netflix shows, the entire season will be made available to watch at once, something sure to please the binge-watchers out there. The show will be available to all Netflix subscribers. For reasons that aren't clear, the next season is debuting a few months later than season 3 did — that one premiered in late July, leading some to hope we'd be getting this fourth season in a couple weeks.

Not familiar with the show? Now is the time to watch it. The series features BoJack Horseman, a horse that seems more human than animal. The former star actor turned alcoholic decides it is time for a comeback and viewers get a front seat to watch how that goes. The Netflix series features Will Arnett as the main character with Amy Sedaris as Princess Carolyn, Aaron Paul as Todd Chavez, and Alison Brie as Diane Nguyen.
