BoJack Horseman lives on with Netflix season 6 order

Some older Netflix original shows are reaching their end, perhaps the most beloved being Orange is the New Black. The spat of cancellations left some wondering whether Netflix's first animated hit, BoJack Horseman, would survive and now we know the answer. The streaming company has officially ordered a sixth season for the show.BoJack Horseman, an animated series about a washed up '90s sitcom star, first aired in late summer 2014, spurring the start of Netflix's animation success. The company has since released multiple animated adult shows, but BoJack Horseman remains a fan favorite, enjoying both high ratings and a television award.

The show's fifth season arrived on September 14, and about a month later the news is in: Netflix has ordered season six. The current season is enjoying very high reviews from both critics and viewers, underscoring Netflix's continued success with the show.

The company didn't miss the chance to draw in more adult animation fans. Netflix's library now includes F is for Family, a raunchy animation set in the 1970s and inspired by comedian Bill Burr's life. This show, which is on its second season, has likewise proven popular with viewers; it currently has an 8 out of 10 score on IMDb and 95% "like" rating on Google.

Netflix also offers two season of adult cartoon Big Mouth and recently released the first season of Matt Groening's Disenchantment.
