BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982 in crocodile leather hits Harrods

BlackBerry has teamed up with Porsche Design to create another special edition smartphone. BlackBerry and Porsche Design teamed up in the past on the Porsche Design Z10. This time out the smartphone tie up with the two firms is called the Porsche Design P'9982 smartphone from BlackBerry.

One version of the smartphone is hand wrapped in genuine crocodile leather and is a very limited edition device. There will only be 500 units offered exclusively in the Porsche Design shop in Harrods. The satin finished frame of the smartphone is made from stainless steel.

The smartphone runs the BlackBerry 10.2 operating system. Since it runs the latest BlackBerry OS, the device supports Blackberry features like Priority Hub, BBM Video with Share Screen, Camera Time Shift mode, and BBM Now.

The smartphone also comes loaded with essential apps for the P'9982 owner. The apps include several for productivity, gaming, and video. The phone ships with a premium stereo headset, polishing cloth, and an international charging kit. A version of the phone in Italian leather will be available at select carriers and retailers around the world starting November 21. Accessory backdoors covered in Italian leather are also available.
