Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One supports up to 64 players in multiplayer mode

Gamers who enjoy a good first-person shooter and plan to purchase the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One consoles along with Battlefield 4 have some very interesting multiplayer battles waiting. We already know that Battlefield 4 will be available on the launch day for both of those consoles. EA is taking some time to brag that gamers will be able to play with 64 people per map at 60 frames per second.

Gamers will get to enjoy battling against 64 people on a single map at 60 frames per second frame rate on both these next-generation consoles. EA says that Battlefield 4 is the only game that will bring 64-player online multiplayer mode to next-generation consoles this year.

Having 64 players participating in a battle on some of the games tighter maps makes for a target rich environment, lots of virtual destruction will be had by all. Launch date for the next generation consoles is almost here. The PlayStation 4 launch is on November 12.

The Xbox One will launch on November 19. Pre-orders for both of these consoles have been sold out at most retailers. If you haven't already pre-ordered, chances are you'll have to spend significantly more than the MSRP on eBay to get your hands on one of these next-generation consoles around launch day.
