Axon Logic Haptic tablet is real and can run OS X

Yesterday we briefly mentioned in the Daily Slash that an interesting sounding tablet from Axon Logic had surfaced. We now have more details on the device for you to peruse. I fully suspect Steve Jobs to unleash the legal ninjas any second.

The Haptic does in fact have the ability to run OS X, but considering that is a breach of contract and adding OS X by default to non-Apple hardware has been the demise of many a company, Axon "strongly suggests" that you not install the Mac OS wink, wink, nudge, nudge. The hardware inside the tablet sounds like a netbook.

It packs a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, a 10-inch 1024 x 600 screen with resistive touch and a stylus, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB 2.5" HDD. Other features include a 1.3MP webcam, three USB ports, and handwriting recognition. The rig will set you back about $800.
