Averatec 18.4-inch All-in-One desktop PC is Atom-based

Averatec certainly is in the news today. We reported just awhile ago that the company had made their Buddy netbook available today and now the Averatec 18.4-inch All-in-One Desktop PC has launched in the US and guess what? It's Atom-based.

The desktop PC was first announced in the Europe last month, but now it's getting its US debut. It features specs that are netbook-comparable. For instance, it features a 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM and a 1.6GHz N270 Atom processor. Windows XP is also included.

The display is an ample 18.4-inches and sports a 1680 x 945 resolution, but that is probably the only non-netbook quality of the whole device. The price tag is pretty good at $550. We expect this all-in-one is intended to go right alongside Averatec's similar computer, the larger 22-inch All-in-One PC.
