Audio Technica announces new headphones

If you're in the market for a new pair of headphones that are intended for the true audiophile, the latest line, ranging from entry-level to super advanced, announced from Audio Technica today might be a good fit for you.

First, there is the ATH-A2000X, which costs $779 and features 53mm diameter drivers, a 5Hz-45kHz frequency response, 42-ohm impedance level and 101dB. The last two specs are also found on the ATH-A1000X, which costs a little bit less at $603, and sports a 5Hz-42kHz frequency response.

The ATH-CK100 model is the next in line, which costs $561, uses a triple driver system and is the smallest In-Ear-Monitor type of headset available. It features 23-ohm impedance, 113dB and has a 20Hz-18kHz frequency response. Last, is the ATH-CKM30, which are a standard model meant for anyone. They feature 10.7mm drivers, a 16-ohm impedance, 14Hz-24kHz frequency response and 104db. These earbuds are available in white, purple, orange, brown, black and red and cost just $40. It is currently unknown if these Audio Technica models will be exported to the U.S.
