AT&T launches unlimited plan deal with perks for first responders

AT&T has launched new unlimited plan deals for first responders and their families, offering a couple unlimited data options at discounted rates. The deal covers both the AT&T Unlimited & More plan and the Unlimited & More Premium plan; a 25-percent discount over regular rates is offered for both options. Perks like entertainment options are included with the Premium plan.

AT&T is offering the new discount to first responders, including firefighters, paramedics, and police officers. Those who qualify — and their families — will get 25-percent off the unlimited options, making a single line start at $52.50/month. Under this discount, a family plan with four lines would start at $120/month, which works out to $30 per line.

Those who want the higher end Premium plan can get it under this discount for $60/month for the first line. Assuming the customer chooses the Premium plan, they can select one of seven entertainment perks, including Amazon Music, Pandora Premium, Cinemax, Starz, VRV, Showtime, and HBO.

The higher tier plan also provides access to at least 30 livestreaming TV channels and on-demand access to various content, as well as unlimited texting in more than 120 countries and unlimited talk/text/data in Canada and Mexico.

Customers can also enjoy some other perks, such as a $15/month discount on DirecTV and another $15/month discount on AT&T Internet service, as well as discounts at the carrier's retail stores. AT&T offers FAQ on its new first responder discounts via the link below.
