AT&T Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 with LTE now available

The LTE version of the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 — similar to the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 we reviewed in July — is now available from AT&T, bringing with it support for LTE networks, a 7-inch display, and a dual-core processor. Both two-year-contract and AT&T Next pricing options are being offered, with the latter allowing subscribers to spread the cost of the device across 20 months.

This version of the Galaxy Tab features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 WSVGA display, while under the hood hardware includes a 1.6GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and up to 16GB of internal storage space (microSD expansion slot allows for up to 64GB). The battery is sizable at 4000mAh, allowing for up to 10 hours of in-use charge time and 17 hours in standby.

Connectivity includes 4G LTE Band 4 and 17, HSPA+, 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band WiFi, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/900MHz, UMTS 850/900/1900/21000MHz, and Bluetooth 4.0. Software, meanwhile, is Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, and all of it is contained in a shell measuring in at 4.37- x 7.4- x 0.39-inches and weighing 11.11 ounces.

With a new two-year-contract, subscribers will be able to grab the LTE Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 for $199, with the regular price coming in at $299 USD. For those who want to get it through AT&T's new Next program, the tablet is being charged at $15 per month for 20 months, bringing the total cost of the device up to $300 USD.
