AT&T debuts TL86109 cordless phone with Bluetooth

AT&T has been offering home phones for a long time, since well before the mobile phone was common. Today a lot of people don't have a home phone and use mobile phones exclusively. For the ones that do have a home phone, AT&T has a new cordless offering that will also work with mobile phones via Bluetooth.

The new cordless phone is the TL86109 and it supports two home phone lines. The phone system uses DECT 6.0 technology and support Bluetooth to let the user answer and make calls using their mobile phone.

The TL86109 can be paired with up to four mobile phones and can download up to 6000 phone book entries from a cellular phone. The phone can also be expanded with up to 12 cordless handsets. The phone system will sell for $169.99 in May and will be offered at Best Buy, Staples and other locations.
