Asus ZenFone 3 Z010DD surfaces in GFX Bench results

Asus ZenFone fans have something to get excited about with some details of an unreleased new version of the ZenFone making the rounds today. A new ZenFone 3 configuration has turned up after testing via GFX Bench called the Z010DD. The benchmarks gave up some details on the hardware the phone has inside.

The smartphone runs Android 6.0 out of the box and has a 5.9-inch 1280 x 720 resolution screen. That low res screen makes this sound like it may be a mid-range ZenFone 3. The ZenFone 2 has a 5.5-inch full HD screen so it isn't like that this particular ZenFone 3 is the high-end device with lesser resolution than the previous model.

The processor inside the leaked device is a Snapdragon 615 and it has 3GB of RAM. Integrated storage is listed at 24GB for this device. Rear camera is a 12MP unit that can record full HD video. The front camera is 4.8MP and it can record full HD video as well.

Other details include an accelerometer, Bluetooth, compass, GPS, light sensor, WiFi, and a single SIM card slot. A different ZenFone 3 model was seen last month packing a Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM, and quad HD resolution.
