ASUS ET2321 all-in-one appears with slimline presentation

This week the folks at ASUS have shown off a computer that you may feel that you've seen before – it's part of a new wave of all-in-one machines that's cut down to their most minimal appearance. You've got a display with a flat black bezel and no edge save one metal bottom and the logo ASUS. This machine is the ASUS ET2321 and it's headed to the market with 4th generation Intel Core processor technology soon.

This machine may remind you of two other machines released over the past couple of years. The first is the newest iMac. As Engadget also suggests, this slimline design could easily be mistaken for the iMac's simple setup by the common user. Inside though, you're working with Windows 8 – and basically everything else is different as well, while you're at it.

Also quite comparable in appearance – with a few more specifications in a similar realm to boot – is the Vizio all-in-one PC. This machine has since been given a boost with more modern processor power and a touchscreen, but still – the visual similarities cannot be dismissed.

As for the ASUS machine at hand: you'll be working with optional Iris or NVIDIA 740M graphics under the hood to back up the Intel Haswell processor architecture. You'll have a 23-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and – again – Windows 8 inside. Built-in speakers come with SonicMaster audio technology, and the display itself is able to be viewed at 178-degree viewing angles.

This PC also works with 10-point touch touchscreen technology and built-in 802.11ac WiFi – hot stuff! We'll expect this PC to appear with more detail, release information, and pricing information in the coming weeks. Until then – glance upon the possibilities.
