ASUS Dual-Screen Laptop First on Market

The W5Fe Laptop from ASUS is the first production laptop to market with a secondary display on the outer shell. This external display is useful for tasks such as checking emails or calendars without having to open and boot up the laptop. The system uses Windows SideShow, a Vista-only technology, to deliver these features. Supposedly, the external display system can operate for "hundreds of hours without draining your notebook battery." We'll see about that. The price and date for release has not been announced yet, but will probably be after Vista's.
