ASPCA parody video highlights robot abuse

There are a lot of serious issues in the world. But it's time to talk about one in particular, that doesn't get a lot of attention. We've been warned about the potential future dangers of our actions, but it seems that despite blockbuster movies that show us what could happen if we don't stop, our terrible actions continue. I'm talking, of course, about robot cruelty.

Reddit user gwk326 decided that it would be funny if they took an ASPCA commercial, and removed all of the terrible footage of abused animals, and replaced them with robots being apparently mistreated. The result is hilariously perfect. Check it out below.

What's so weird about this video is how perfectly it works. Most of those robots have features that closely resemble either an animal, or a person. And when you add in the sad music, and the lady describing terrible things, you just feel bad for those robots.

It turns out that there's a whole website dedicated to stopping robot abuse. Sure, it's satirical, as pretty much all of the clips are from people testing out things like stability, but it's worth a look. And someday, when our robot overlords take over, these are the clips that they will show us on loop, as they punish us for our crimes against them.
