Android Market now shows apps in local currency

The Android Market now shows local currency prices for paid applications, rather than a mixture of dollar, pound and euro figures that had proved confusing for users.  An overnight update to the software store now gives rough conversion figures in whatever your local currency is; the apps themselves are still sold in their original currency, since the figures are presented as only guidelines.

It's a much-needed update, however, since the hodge-podge of numbers added an extra mental barrier to downloading software since users couldn't be entirely sure what each app might cost them.  Still, it's worth noting that your card provider could levy some sort of conversion fee so the final price might be a little higher.
