Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet gets new 64GB aluminum version

Amazon has some cheap Fire tablets, and they're great for kids who are probably going to break them regardless of quality. Adults, though, want something more robust, and Amazon is giving them what they want. The company has rolled out an all-aluminum Fire 10 tablet, and you can get it with up to 64GB of storage space. The aluminum version joins the white and black version of the Fire 10.
The Fire 10 tablets are pretty nice if you have an Amazon Prime subscription and frequently use Amazon products. The downside is that they have plastic backs, and plastic feels cheap...too cheap for something that cost $200+. That changed today with a new silver aluminum version featuring an all-metal body.
Even better, you're not going to pay extra for the metal version: Amazon's website lists it for the same prices as the white and black versions, starting at $229.99 for the 16GB version. If 16GB isn't enough, there's the 32GB version with the same $259.99 price tag, or exclusive to the aluminum version is a third option: 64GB for $289.99.
These are the only things changing, though. The aluminum version is listed with the same specs as the other two, offering a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 display, quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, front-facing "HD" camera, and a microSD slot that supports cards up to 128GB.
