Alien Isolation gameplay trailer at E3 terrifies

This week the folks at SEGA are bringing some force with the newest bit of gameplay in a trailer for Alien Isolation. This game is not one to show your children, nor is it one you're going to want to watch alone in the dark. Unless you like to get freaked out, that is to say.

The game Alien Isolation aims to bring the terror summoned by the 1979 Ridley Scott movie into a video game. Previous Alien video games have either been released far too early in the video game universe to be scary or have focused on the military aspects of the Alien environment. This game takes you back to the beginning – a Xenomorph on a space station, and you're all alone.

This game will be released to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 starting on October 7th, 2014. This game will be available in the United States at that time – international sales are not yet known.

Have a peek at a number of shots provided by SEGA this week as well. They're called "screenshots", but we must assume they've been captured with a PC running on high. Stick around SlashGear for more ALIEN action and E3 2014 gameplay and trailers coming your way all week!
