Acura NSX "Dream Project" by ScienceofSpeed rolls into SEMA

Each year at SEMA there are a vast number of awesome custom cars on display. This year one of the coolest is a special Acura NSX by ScienceofSpeed called the NSX "Dream Project" and the car looks the business. The first thing you notice about this special SEMA car is the bodywork that looks straight off the GT3 racing grid. The body kit is inspired by those GT3 racers and not only looks good, but it functions as well.

The car gets modifications to the engine with the addition of liquid injected intercooling that cools the intake air before it enters the twin-turbos of the engine. Power output is up to 610hp and 507 lb-ft of torque. Those are gains of 37hp and 31 lb-ft of torque over stock. The car was also fitted with wider Advan GT forged wheels measuring 20x9 front and 21x12 rear in a black finish.

The wheels were shod with Pirelli Trofeo R tires. The suspension was tweaked with a lowering kit dropping the car by about an inch compared to stock. The lowered suspension might make the car difficult to live with so an iLIFT suspension system raises the front axle by up to 2-inches when needed.

Other touches include carbon ceramic Brembo brakes and a full body kit. That body kit has a mid-height rear wing, larger rear diffuser, and wider carbon fiber ducted rocker panels. Custom paint covers the body kit.

The paint is gloss black on the roof with Nouvelle Blue Pearl on the body, a combo that is a throwback to the first generation NSX. The custom interior includes Recaro Pole Position racing seats with custom upholstery. The Dream Project NSX is on display during the show.
