Acer's new 32-inch WQHD monitor packs a pixel punch

Acer is introducing their 32-inch WQHD monitor, the B326HUL. The display packs a ton of pixels, offering up a 2560 x 1440 resolution. In bringing images to life, Acer also has some unique color reproduction stats, and the price is nothing to scoff at, either.

The WQHD monitor "provides four times the resolution of standard HD 720p", Acer tells us. A 178-degree viewing angle make it great for groups, and a 6ms response time make it ideal for watching video. Anti-glare protection and a polarizer material reduce glare for a more comfortable viewing experience.

The 100,000,000:1 maximum contrast ratio and 300 nits brightness will come in handy when you take advantage of the six-axis color adjustment and 100% sRGB. Acer's newest is LED backlit, too, and is EPEAT Gold registered. The monitor also has two HDMI ports, DVI-D input, DisplayPort and USB 3.0.

Acer says the monitor will go on sale this month at various retailers, though they didn't say where it would be on offer. A starting price of $899 will be the asking price, here, with Acer offering up a three-year warranty when you purchase.
