Acer offers up European pricing for Iconia Tab A110

We've spent some hands-on time with slick Acer Iconia Tab A110 earlier this summer. This is the seven-inch tablet from Acer running Android and using an Nvidia Tegra 3 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. The tablet has a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 and 1 GB of RAM.

Integrated storage is 8 GB, and it has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The specific flavor of Android on the tablet we fondled was Android 4.0. We didn't know a few important details about the A110 when we got to hold it back in June. Little details like the launch date and pricing weren't offered.

Acer has now announced that the A110 will sell for £179.99 in Europe. Acer isn't giving us an exact launch date, but says the tablet will be coming this autumn. Interestingly, the tablet has also been upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean rather than Android 4.0 that it was running when we spent hands-on time with the tablet a few months ago.

Acer says that the tablet will make it easy to access your favorite apps and will feature resizable widgets that automatically resize to the space available on the screen. The tablet will be preloaded with a full set of Google Mobile Service apps including Gmail, maps, YouTube, and more. The tablet has a two megapixel front facing camera for video chatting and has integrated HDMI output along with a micro USB port.
