Acer Aspire C Series all-in-one desktops with ultra-slim bezels launch in US

Acer has announced the launch of its all-in-one desktop line, the Acer Aspire C Series, in the United States. These all-in-one desktops feature ultra-slim bezels measuring only 0.31-inches in width. The series is composed of two models, a 21.5-inch display model and a 23.8-inch display model, both featuring a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution. Acer is offering the models with the option of Windows 10, Linpus Simple Linux, and FreeDOS.

The Aspire C Series all-in-one desktop line features up to a sixth-generation Intel Core i3 processor and up to Intel HD Graphics 520. Users can choose configurations up to 8GB of DDR4 memory alongside a 1TB hard drive. Connectivity, meanwhile, includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE.

Both Aspire C Series models also feature a pair of USB 2.0 ports and a pair of USB 3.0 ports, as well as dual speakers for stereo audio, both audio-in and audio-out ports, and RJ-45. Acer says the design itself was made with ergonomics in mind, namely via the tilt chassis that supports tilting from -5 degrees to 20 degrees.

Other features include a 1-megapixel HD webcam and an integrated single array microphone for video chats and VoIP calls without using a headset. Obviously, the integrated microphone also comes in handy for using Cortana, assuming you go with the Windows 10 operating system. The new models are available from Acer now for prices ranging from $449.99 USD to $699.99 USD.
