2020 Hyundai Palisade is a big, beautiful people hauler
Families need vehicles that have plenty of room inside to haul kids, the friends that come with kids, and all the gear that you need to enjoy life. For many of those people, a van isn't what they want leaving them looking for an SUV that fits the bill. Hyundai has a new 3-row SUV that it unveiled at the LA Auto Show that will give families the room they need with three rows of seating for up to eight.
The SUV is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade, and it is a very good looking SUV inside and out. Hyundai says that the Palisade rolls on an all-new SUV chassis and the ride has seating reconfiguration capability and a large cargo area. Palisade has available LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED turn-signal mirrors.
Rear seat passengers can see the sights with panoramic rear glass and a cutaway roof for spaciousness. Hyundai designed the SUV with an eye towards aerodynamics using special under vehicle air deflectors and channels helping efficiency and keeping the car quieter. Palisade will be offered in base configurations with cloth seating or up-level versions with leather; the leather version has quilted Nappa leather.
The second row of seats are one-touch to move them forward and out of the way for easy access to the third-row seat. Third-row seats are power folding and unfolding and recline for comfort. Palisade can be fitted with second-row captains seats if wanted and those seats are available with ventilated surfaces.
Every Palisade model has seven USB outlets with each seating row having access to USB ports. The rear view mirror has a conversation mode making it easy to see rear passengers, and a communication system for easy chatting with rear passengers is available. A HUD throws important information on the windshield so drivers can keep eyes on the road. Other features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and available Qi wireless charging support. Hyundai SmartSense safety and driver assistance tech is standard on all models. Palisade will roll onto dealer lots in the summer of 2019 at an undisclosed price.
