2020 Honda Civic line hits dealers

Honda has announced that the 2020 Honda Civic has now landed at dealerships around the country. Both the Honda Civic and Civic Sedan are now available at dealerships as of today. The 2020 Civic line starts at $19,750, excluding the $930 destination and delivery charge. Honda says that the 2020 Civic is poised to continue as the best-selling retail car in America for three years running.The Civic carries over after being redesigned last year. The Sport version carries over as the second most popular trim in the line. That car has a black-painted rear spoiler, black grille, fog lights with gloss black trim, and a center-mounted chrome exhaust finisher. Sport trim cars get a 2.0-liter engine and an available 6-speed manual transmission.

Sport trims are fitted with exclusive shock absorbers and rear lower control arms and stiffer front stabilizers. The Civic Sedan and Coupe LX and Sport trims have a 2.0L 158hp, 138 pound-foot of torque engine with a 6-speed manual or CVT. Civic EX, EX-L, and Touring get a 1.5L turbo-four making 174hp and 167 lb-ft of torque with the manual and 162 lb-ft of torque with the CVT.

Pricing starts at $20,680 with the destination charge for a Civic Sedan LX 6-speed and goes up to $28,530 for a Civic Sedan Touring CVT. Sport and higher trims get a Display Audio system with a volume knob and physical buttons for core functions. They include Bluetooth and a digital gauge cluster.

Standard equipment on Civic Sedan and Coupe models includes Honda Sensing safety and driver-assist technology that includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist. Also standard on all trims are automatic high beams, automatic climate control, electronic parking brake, 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Sport and higher get a 7-inch Display Audio system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
