2019 Lincoln MKC is a small and luxurious SUV

Lincoln has rolled out a new SUV called the MKC and it is small but still has the luxury touches you expect in a Lincoln. The MKC has automatic emergency braking and pedestrian collision avoidance integrated. The SUV has LED headlamps and LED lighting in the lower front body and tail lights.

Inside the MKC aims to be quiet, warm, and inviting with soft-touch materials. The seats are available with heating and cooling tech inside and WiFi hotspot is standard inside the vehicle. There are also numerous USB ports to keep gadgets charged on a long day out.

Lincoln also offers Lincoln Black Label for the new MKC that allows for custom designer themes and other membership privileges. Membership offers annual vehicle detailing, anytime carwashes, and access to restaurants where chefs will provide curated dining.

Available themes for the Black Label program include Modern Heritage with white Venetian leather with the Black Label star insignia and Argento wood accents. Indulgence is Venetian leather and Alcantara cloth in Truffle and Ganache colors with rich Zirlcote wood.

The last is Center Stage with diamond-L perforation pattern in the Alcantara cloth seat inserts, black Venetian leather, and firefox red trim. MKC buyers also get standard SYNC 3 tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Active park assist is available. The SUV uses an optional 2.3L twin-scroll turbo engine making 285hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. The base engine is a 2.0L 245hp turbo four. The MKC can tow 3,000 pounds when properly equipped. All-wheel drive is available for both engines. The MKC lands at dealers this summer at an undisclosed price.
