2019 F-150 Limited gains Raptor 3.5L EcoBoost engine

Truck buyers who looked at the Raptor and wanted something that was fancier, but still had all that torque and horsepower have a new option. Ford has announced that the 2019 F-150 Limited is getting that high-output 3.5L EcoBoost V6 from the Raptor. That new engine makes the F-150 Limited the most powerful light-duty truck in the US.

The 3.5L EcoBoost makes 450hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. The truck also has a new dual-exhaust system that has tips integrated into new rear bumper cutouts. While the truck is built to be storing and capable of working all day when needed. It's also much more luxurious on the inside than other trucks in the F-150 line. This is a true Cowboy Cadillac.

F-150 Limited buyers will get a Miko suede headliner and leather-topped instrument panel and door panels. The truck also features gradated ash swirl trim. Each piece of that wood is hand finished and has a halo around the edges with a heavily polished center to bring out the beauty of the wood.

The seating surfaces are a new Camel Back two-tone leather that is soft to the touch and the truck has multicontrour front seats with Active Motion for lumbar support. That feature can massage the back to help reduce back and lower leg fatigue. Each F-150 Limited gets a laser-etched plaque on the center console armrest with its serial number.

The truck rolls on 22-inch wheels and has a satin-finish grille. Power deploy running boards, remote start, tailgate release, and a twin-panel moonroof are standard. An integrated trailer brake is standard and a 360-degree camera system with dynamic hitch assist. Pricing is unannounced currently.
