2019 Audi A6 offers new 248hp four-cylinder engine and standard AWD

Audi has announced that the 2019 Audi A6 is bringing with it more value to the mid-size sedan segment for the automaker. The 2019 A6 gets an all-new 2.0L TFSI four-cylinder that makes 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The engine can push the car to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

The new 2.0L engine is now the standard engine and is fitted with a 7-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission. The A6 now comes with standard Quattro all-wheel drive for all models. Audi also fits the car with LED headlights, high beam assist, and lane departure warning as standard. The convenience package is now offered with a heated steering wheel.

That package also includes Audi pre sense rear, Audi phone box, and Audi advanced key. The phone box feature allows wireless charging and connects the phone to the vehicle's antenna. Inside the car, A6 buyers now get heated 8-way power front seats with four-way lumbar and leather. MMI navigation and the Audi smartphone interface are all standard.

The second-gen Audi virtual cockpit is available to enhance infotainment and navigation experience. There are a number of available driver-assist features including adaptive cruise control with traffic jam and turn assist. An available Executive Package for Premium Plus models includes four-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, power trunk open/close, and an interior light package.

2019 A6 models get a new MMI touch response system that replaces the rotary dial and conventional buttons of the previous model with a pair of large, high-resolution touch displays. Audi says this enables fast access to functions and a high degree of personalization. The 2019 Audi A6 with the 2.0L TFSI engine starts at $54,100 for the Premium version, and Premium Plus starts at $57,800. Both of those prices include the $995 destination charge.
