2018 Corvette Carbon 65 is limited to 650 units

Chevrolet has announced a new special edition Corvette that is meant to celebrate 65 years of the iconic American sports car. The 2018 Corvette Carbon 65 Edition is offered on 2018 Grand Sport and Z06 models and is limited to only 650 units made. Each of the cars will get a unique VIN number and a plaque inside the car highlighting the build number.

The special package has lots of visible carbon fiber elements and a new Ceramic Matrix Gray exterior color. On convertible models, the top is blue on this package. Each car gets unique fender stripes and door graphics. The wheels are special black units with machined grooves.

On Grand Sport models the wheels are cup-style and Z06 cars get blade-style wheels. The brake calipers are blue, and the visible carbon fiber is seen on the ground effects, hood, and roof for coupe models. Convertibles get carbon fiber tonneau inserts.

All versions get a visible carbon fiber spoiler and coupes get carbon fiber quarter intake ducts. Wheel center caps get the Carbon logo. Inside the car are jet black suede wrapped interior with blue stitching. The steering wheel has a carbon fiber rim and glossy carbon fiber trim adorns the interior.

The seats are competition units and the car has Carbon Edition sill plates as well. The Corvette Carbon 65 Edition will be on hand at the SEMA show and will go on sale in Q1 2018. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
