Zune HD landing September 5th?

Microsoft will launch the Zune HD PMP on September 5th, according to Paul Thurrott.  The Windows expert claims to "have been told" the date previously, but gives no indication of a specific source.

Microsoft have previously only suggested that the PMP will land in the US come the fall, and are yet to comment on this specific date suggestion.  The Zune HD has a 3.3-inch OLED touchscreen, WiFi and HD Radio, together with the capability to play back 720p HD video via a docking station accessory.

Still no word on pricing or capacity for the PMP, but we'd expect it to be competitive with Apple's iPod touch.  Microsoft is expected to announce a new, Zune-branded video service at E3 this week.
