ZAGGbox available for pre-order

I talked about the ZAGGbox back in October when we first got wind of the device. At the time, there were some key bits of info missing about the device like when it would launch and an exact price. ZAGG has now announced that pre-orders for the device are being taken.

The ZAGGbox is a home media server that streams all sorts of digital content to a MID via UPnP, video Podcasting or via a built-in web server. It will launch along with an iPhone app allowing easy access. The device has bobs of local connectivity features for hooking to TVs and other entertainment devices.

When we first heard about the device the price was pegged at about $999 and the launch date was set for Q1 2010. ZAGG is now saying the device will launch in Q2 2010 and the price is significantly cheaper. Pre-orders are being taken now for $799 in limited quantities.
