I never understood why anyone, at least 99.9% of people would ever be idiots and use their real name. WTF is up with people? I know society is 95% of imbeciles and morons, just look at anyone who would talk, better yet, F’ING TEXT, YES, TURN EYES FROM THE ROAD AND F’ING TYPE, but I guess they are stupid all the way through if they give out their real names and info for the world to see. That is why facebook and other social moron, hide from the world abnormal and cant adjust to society social jack offs love it so much.

People seem to be missing the point in the article and in the image that this is completely optional. You can still keep your old Youtube info and are in no way being forced to use your G+ real name. I don’t understand why anyone would be upset about more options.

Wouldn’t it just be easier if everyone acted like a normal person and not a douche just because they can hide behind the anonymity of the internet? They’re not limiting free speech. Free speech is the right to say what you want, not be given the ability to be as anonymous as possible so you be as obnoxious as possible.

Identity theft isn’t something that magically happens because you know someone’s name. I can randomly generate a name and I guarantee it will exist somewhere in the US. My name is Jon Smith. I’d love to see someone steal my identity…

Calm Down… They aren’t limiting your freedom of speech, just cutting down on comments like “You suck” or any other trolling comments. If you don’t like the change, stay off of Youtube, it’s that simple. Nobody is forcing you to use a service.

Hasn’t Youtube heard of the Right of Privacy? The US Supreme Court has protected it as part of the 9th Constitutional Amendment. This is yet another attempt by online companies to limit the freedom of speech. People are less willing to discuss if they’re identity is exposed. I think this poses more of a security risk for users. How much easier would it be for identity theft? They’re making a huge mistake with this bad company policy.
