You get the first 5 gigs for free. You always had to pay Google for extra storage.

There are only three producs from google that worth: search engine, email and maps. You dont need enything else from google.

I can’t help but not pay for the 25GB, + all of googles services have been ‘FREE’ and good to me over the past 6 years, they can have my $2.50 a month, no probs.

I guess by this logic, Hotmail was one of the first to provide this type of “Google Drive” service because they provide space for user to store user email files?! That’s baloney.

Considering Skydrive is offering my preexisting space on top of their storage plans as well as being cheaper. I would say the only thing that would make me pay for more storage from Google at this point is if they created a new tier of storage options for those who sign up annually rather than monthly at a cost cheaper than Skydrive.

I like it and the fact that I’m grandfathered in to my old 20Gig for 5bucks a YEAR rather than 2.50/month makes it even better.
