because we should wait for the note 3 and then see if we should skip it. The note 2 has to be skipped, but the note 3 is a possibility. So if you want the note 2 and you don’t have one, wait 2 more years because 2 plus 2 is 5 right?

Most smartphone buyers keep a device 18 months to 2 years. When a new device is launched, it’s important to look at buyers up for a new contract or tired of their old device to see prospective audience. Look at the big A, for instance. Why was the last device such a hit, even though it was mostly a spec bump from the year before? Because those are the buyers who are interested. Your column seems to be aimed only at existing owners of the Galaxy Note. Those people are 99% not in the market for a new smartphone of any kind for almost another year, and some for much more, if they bought recently.

Many people miss what I find most important about the Galaxy Note and Note 2. It is big enough to SEE, and small enough to carry in any of my pockets. Getting old is a bitch, but no point missing out on all the fun. The Note makes it possible without having to hand carry something around all day.

Worst article in a long time. For what it’s worth, not everybody gets their gadgets shipped free for review by the companies. Thus, If you dont have the luxury of owning both a SGS 3 and a Note 10.1, maybe a 5.5 Note 2 is just what fits their need. And as long as Sammy manages to actually sell enough of them, more choice is BETTER.

I agree with the rest of people here, you really need to think before writing. I have held off purchasing any new phones for the past year all just for this Phone. You have to be pretty foolish, if you can afford it, to purchase last years model when a new model that does things better pop up.
