Worth Reading?

NoYes

A new version of Yahoo Music hit public beta today and it is a serious change from previous versions. In fact, the entire approach is different. The site now works like a hub for all other media content sites, directing you to others to make purchases and take a listen.

On this updated version of Yahoo Music, you can buy songs from many different sources like iTunes or Amazon.com. Internet radio is collected from Pandora and Last.fm while music videos are brought in from YouTube.

This update really changes the way Yahoo Music approaches content altogether and makes for a more open experience. Since they didn’t succeed at having their own music store, at least this way they can act as a one-stop shop for finding exactly what you want.
