Yahoo! isn’t the best search engine. they don’t have the best email service. They also don’t have the best e purchase transaction system. they are trying to live off their legacy user base and dable in things to capitalize on the traffic that the have,butis failing to grow next to their competitors. 
Hunjering down, protecting and being the best in your core businesses and products is something that Yahoo lost sight of. They either bail and go onto a new business venture or they should have a plan to reclaim their olace. i guess they are still on the fence on what that is
