Xperia Z3 limited editions feature art inspired by Berlin, Tokyo, and Warsaw

Sony has unveiled a limited edition version of the Xperia Z3 smartphone. On each of the limited edition devices is an engraving that is inspired by three great cities from around the world. The three cities include Berlin, Tokyo, and Warsaw. The devices were made as part of a "Stadt Talente" project where three artists were invited to use the Z3 as a canvas to create art to celebrate their favorite city.

One Z3 has an illustration from Vesa Tapani Sammalisto that represents Berlin. The Tokyo version of the Z3 was created by artist Shinpei Hasegawa to represent Tokyo. Jan Feliks Kallwejt created the Warsaw version of the Z3.

If you like the idea of a Z3 with art on the back inspired by one of these great cities, you may be out of luck unless you live in Germany. All three of the devices are only available in Germany. They are also very limited edition with only 33 units available for each model.

Other than the fancy art on the back, they have the same hardware as normal Z3 smartphones. They feature a 5.2-inch screen with full HD resolution, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. Bluetooth, GPS, and 4K video recording are supported. The rear camera is a 20.7MP unit with 8x digital zoom. They are selling for 669 euro.
