Xperia XZ Premium and XZs release details: 4K phone, powerful cameras

Two new smartphones have been added to Sony's pack with the Sony Xperia XZs and Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The lesser of these two devices rolls with a 1080p 5.2-inch display while the more extravagant ramps up right past 2K with a 5.5-inch 4K HDR panel. Both devices have TRILUMINOS Display for mobile technology as well as X-Reality for mobile picture engine technology and Dynamic Contrast Enhancement – all Sony branding that means that this display is made by and guaranteed to be top-notch by Sony.

The Xperia XZ Premium and XZs are the latest in a long line of Xperia "X" devices that've been coming for the past half-decade from Sony. They all look very similar to one-another, all working with the same flat-on-both-sides look that Sony's grown to love. The Xperia XZs and Xperia XZ Premium are slightly different from the XZ, a device largely promoted nearer the end of last year.
