While I’ve been a console gamer for years, PC gaming has slowly grown on me. That said, there are times I wonder if I wouldn’t do a bit better at some of my favorite console games if I used a keyboard and mouse, rather than a controller. If you have a PS3 and some spare cash, you can solve that debate once and for all.

XFPS

XFPS has a new adapter that you can hook into one of your USB ports which allows you to hook up a USB or even (gasp!) PS/2 keyboard and mouse. It will then map the buttons from the controller appropriately on your new peripherals.

I can’t seem to find anything that says whether or not you’d be able to choose how the buttons were mapped, which would be a major concern. If you’re interested though, you’ll need to shell out an extra $99.

Dont bother, i have the sniper edition for the XBOX 360 and it is the laggiest piece of crap that i have ever used. It is totally useless as a keyboard and mouse adapter. Total waste of time. It’ll most likely perform the same for the PS3.
