i have both consoles.. i love halo and all the great titles on the 360. i always thought that id be a die hard microsoft guy but then metal gear4 came out and i saw the demo on youtube and i was hooked. 3 days later i purchased a ps3 and ive had the console since mgs4′s release date and im not disappointed. yea its expensive. but when i saw the $500 price for 80gb and the game included with the online game also included i mean.. come on. you pay 400 for xbox. then buy halo. 60 then you have to go pay for online which is 50 a year. if you can do correct math that adds up to $510. so in essense, now the ps3 has somewhat realized oh $H!T we really screwed up and lowered their price for the console. then from another side you have halo and you have metal gear. you have a high deff. player plus all the great title that come out from both worlds. i do believe that xbox has better games that are only out for xbox but they have also had a great head start. i do believe that the new microsoft system will again be better (at first) than the sony system but once game developers realize what the sony system can do i believe that ps3 will be better than xbox. then microsoft will come out with its new system in 20** whatever and will use what they saw in the ps3 to help them design the so called 720, and once again will get a head start over sony. lets hope that sony get their head out of their a$$ and just makes an equal price for the new system. then i believe it will be quite interesting to see who sells more. prolly xbox because of the titles but you never know.

Well, i really like how they update consoles by making new ones, and i buy the new ones and all because i want to stay up to date, its that they keep getting more and more expensive, and i have gotten my 360 only a little while ago and then i have to go choose between a PS4 and an Xbox 720 (probably Xbox 720), and what do i do with my 360? sell it on ebay for $20? stop hanging new things in front of us! wait a couple more years

I think i can stand for everyone here when i say the people who prefer the PS3 to the XBOX 360 are the ones who have never played the 360. Being a gamer myself the XBOX LIVE feature microsoft created is much much better the the PS3′s internet. Sure u have to maybe buy the wireless adapter but hey if you can afford the console you should be able to afford the adapter as well. Honestly i think the XBOX 360 would still reign supreme if they only had a few games such as HALO 3 and CALL OF DUTY 4. And plus with the new major titles such as HALO WARS and FABLE 2 PS3 is sure to lose some major gaming fans off of just those titles. And another thing i wanted to get to was who cares about the stupid TPS (triangles per second) because in games like guitar hero 3 you dont have to hit the notes directly and you can still hit them which i think is a much better aspect than the PS3′s having to hit the notes directly. Otherwise EXPERT would be nearly impossible.

My opinion is that XBOX 360 is the shit so anyone who disagrees can go jack off in the corner.

BTW,
If anyone who reads this plays HALO 3 on XBOX LIVE I have a 50 and anyone who thinks they can take me on be my guest.

Having owned a PS3 and played all the greatest titles of the 360, I stand to agree that 360 has better textures and the best titles (obviously) but for some reason I bought a Wii. Oh well, I found like 4 good titles for the Wii, (and one of them is Call of Duty 5). It’s not arguable to say the 360 doesn’t have the best games but I would rather stick to something sleek and simple, for anyone else, I can only say, everyone has a different taste in gaming.

hey ppl come on. most of us have just bought a 360 or ps3 so it’s not nice hearing that a new 720 is coming out. some people are so stupid arguing whic console is better. i mean the two of them are good on diffrent aspacts example the 360 has cooler game title but on the other hand ps3 has more usb ports. than the 360 is more fragile compared to the ps3 but now 360 wins on ps3 from xbox live. so if you just compare the two console youl see that if the ps3 have something better the 360 has something that the ps3 doesn’t have. so all the ps3 fans and 360 fans like me let’s just sit back and wait for upcoming games not for another 5years or so to get a 720 or a ps4 whatever……. just have fun and if you like ps3 buy it if you like 360 buy but once in for all stop arguing which is better both are fantastic compared to the older consoles.

There’s coming new controller from Microsoft, and it have “Sixx Axxis” thing. X360 owns PS3 with better graphics and games (and of course, with Live). I don’t say that PS3 totally sucks, it’s very good console, and it’s better for all media (Blu-Ray,HDMI,etc…), but i think that, we already have a PC for that all. And who cares will console have HDMI. It’s just little better than VGA, you need microscope to see the changes.

woah woah wtf people,wasnt this supposed to be a discussion over the xbox 720? youve changed the entire topic to console vs. console, this debates been going on since the ps3 debut and i for one dont care eny more, as it stands each system is good in its own way for its own market. First up is the wii although it may have bad graphics and may not be amazingly fast. it is fun, keep in mind its marketed to mostly elementary students or people who just want a little family fun so dont get all up in arms if you dont like it dont buy it. Next is the 360, great system for its market, great games and some games not so great but a huge selection none the less, the online play quality shows up in all games. the systems downfall (dont get me wrong i ****ing love my 360) is that its graphics wont be getting above 720p, 2- its online requires money and the people who were barely able to save up and buy the system will find some games disapointing without online. 3- there are still glitches like the red ring of death or the blue screen of death, the random freeze ups and so on. Last but not least as some might say is the PS3, although many problems have been stated i still love my PS3 the prices have been dropped to 400 for the 20 gig so that solves most of the money problem, next its online is completely free so fun after youve beaten the main story line requires no extra money. another plus is that blue ray won the war so the ps3 now finds itself being the cheapest high def video player on the market. the ps3 major downfalls are its large lack of games out only for ps3, its lack of games in general, and the fact that game developers have yet to develop technology to fully utilize its power. Another thing to remember is that each system is based mostly for a different age . The 360 sells mostly to early and mid teens while the wii sells to people either in elementry school or people with kids, and the ps3 sells mainly to late teens and mid 20s so whatever your preference take your pick if you dont like one of them then dont buy it but please refrain from bashing and insulting randomly just because of your preference its not going to stop them from being built or sold.

now im not gunna rave on about how much better the PS3 is over the Xbox 360 ill give Xbox props i didnt think it would be ahead of Sony for so long the thing that screwed sony was the price and lack of games and the games it did have were basiclly multiplatform games and they were just a port of the Xbox version anyway so the graphics/lighting whatever game out worse u wont see a difference in consoles untill the developers work out the CELL (i put it in capitals because its spelt in capitals) after all the PS3 is even out doing in terms of power even the best PC’s PC is only at the same stage as Xbox 4 processors PS3 has 7 i am a proud owner of a PS3 but i will give props 2 the 360 even tho i hate the machine and will never own a Xbox the real irony in it all is when the Xbox was first being developed microsoft and IBM were working together to make a good machine..a year later Sony and IBM make the CELL

I am all for a new xbox coming out. What I do not like is that it could be so soon. I just got my 360 less than a year ago and I am fine with it. I really really do not want to go out and spend a few hundred dollars on a new xbox when my 360 is in fine condtition. I agree that microsoft needs to slow down and let the customers have fun with their products for a while before they go and make something new so they can make money. Microsoft will always have money so they do not need to keep thinking about it. They need to think about their customers money as well.
