There’s just something about the sleek appeal of wood that keeps people designing gadgets around it. Usually the wooden objects are computers, monitors or other devices that you look at more than you touch. However, if this next one makes it to production, you’ll be touching it a lot.

Hulger’s Ziricote Luxury Wooden Phone looks very sleek. It’s of course a slider phone, though it is reported that most major functions aside from dialing can be performed without needing to slide out the keypad. I like the fact that when you flip it over, the phone actually looks like a camera.

This phone is of course still in the concept phase. As with many such concepts it will likely never see the production line. Though I wouldn’t mind seeing one of these produced.
