What I think bothers most people about the creationist theory is that there really is no evidence for it. Yet there is more and more evidence coming forth for evolution. Anybody can create a story of how we came to be. The bible is not the only one. There are many other ideas that are accepted by not just a few followers. The problem is that religion continually strives to prove itself right, whereas science continually tries to prove itself wrong. By doing so, we can let go of ideas that were great in there time, but no longer serve their purpose. We are able to expand our thinking beyond what scientists knew or believed a few hundred years ago. People generally don't hate religion, they hate when people try to compare them on the same level of science.

I stopped reading once you called the MULTICELLULAR C. elegans a "protozoa." Clearly, you have many misconceptions about science and are unfamiliar with the use of model organisms (of which C. elegans is common) in understanding our own biology, rendering the rest of your post invalid.

Read a real science book instead of watching the Discovery channel and get your facts straight.

Yea, maybe humans evolved from monkeys or micro organisms, but is evolution the only way? I think maybe just maybe the Bible brings us another story:) ---Dont be haters.

It is inconceivable to even think that an organism as complex as the human body can be compared to a protozoan organism as the worm mentioned in this article. There is no place for humans in space and we should not be misled by the fact that because we are capable of surviving trips to the moon or in the international space station, we are therefore capable of surviving a long journey to and from Mars. If astronauts do succeed in making the journey to Mars they will be fully preoccupied just spending their time trying to survive under conditions that are both unsupportive and hostile. They will require oxygen, water , and organic food. Assuming there is water on Mars from which they can obtain hydrogen and oxygen, what will they do for energy. Hydrogen will not combust in the absence of oxygen or combine with CO2 to produce energy to maintain their body temperature. Interplanetary travel for the moment must remain a dream until we have acquired the technology of Hydrogen fusion to produce abundant energy.

There's a good explanation for why life may exist on Mars. In the
Earth's past there was powerful volcanic activity which could have
easily spewed dirt and rocks containing microbes into outer space which
not only could have eventually reached Mars but also ended up traveling
in orbit through space that we now know as meteors. A Newsweek
article of September 21, 1998, p.12 mentions exactly this possibility.
"We think there's about 7 million tons of earth soil sitting on Mars",
says scientist and evolutionist Kenneth Nealson. "You have to consider
the possibility that if we find life on Mars, it could have come from
the Earth" [Weingarten, T., Newsweek, September 21, 1998, p.12].

For more information, read the Internet article "Life on Mars
Came From Earth."
