Yikes, I was looking forward to Belkin’s first attempt at a wireless USB hub, but now I’m not so sure.  The beauties over at Engadget got their hands on one and found that, while setup was easy, range was a dire six foot and transfer speeds about as fast as a very small shrew climbing up a very steep hill.

Seriously, on what planet is eight and a half minutes to transfer a 400MB file that, wired, makes it across in forty seconds okay?  Belkin, please tell me this is a glitchy first try, else you’ve just made a $200 paperweight.
