Since WP7 was released they dropped from ~7% to ~4%. I really do hope they manage to make something out of it. Competition is always good, but somehow I doubt Microsoft has competition in mind and I doubt half-baked OS would make it that easily.

You can say whatever you like but WP7 is just WinMo 6.5 with Silverlight UI. Having 1GHz processor as a requirement limits the number of devices a bit.

Guys did you ever use a phone 7 device? I had pretty much every platform that exists on a phone and even without mango I wouldn’t want to go back to any of them. Maybe it’s just me beeing such an interface-nut, but the ease of using my hd7 when compared to my Desire before that is just something I would not want to miss. Obviously, this is my personal preference and I see why people opt for iOS ot Android instead, but honestly, I do think people should cut MS some slack here and give the thing a try before they dismiss it – just because it is MS…

Had an iPhone after that and won’t do it again.
Have an HTC Android, and am TOTALLY ready for something else.
